Siemens Healthineers has announced FDA clearance of the MAGNETOM Viato.Mobile, a new 1.5 Tesla (1.5T) magnetic resonance (MR) imaging scanner optimized for mobile use to provide greater flexibility in deploying MR imaging. Designed to be installed in a trailer for easy transportation to offsite locations, the 70 centimeter-bore scanner brings advanced medical imaging to patients, often with serious health conditions, who would otherwise need to travel long distances.
